Built-in mounting feet make it easy to attach your Beagle Board xM anywhere like under a desk, in the ceiling or on the wall. You can even insert small rubber feet (not included) if you need to set it on your desk.
The BeagleBone Black LCD cape features 7 push buttons below the screen, LEFT, RIGHT, UP, DOWN, ENTER, RESET and POWER, along with 2 LED’s to indicate Power and User Status. Mounting the cape is easy with the 4x 3.5mm mounting holes present on it, enabling standard M3 or #6-32 screws to fasten the the LCD cape as required.
Each BeagleBone Black Proto Cape offers plenty of space to prototype with .1" spaced through-holes. There are two power buses provided along with ground connections on both sides of the board. With this cape you should have no trouble designing and creating whatever kind of add-on you would like to be attached to your BeagleBone Black.

The serial pins (DIN and DOUT) of the XBee are connected through an SPDT switch, which allows you to select a connection to either the UART pins (D0, D1) or any digital pins on the Arduino (D2 and D3 default). Power is taken from the 5V pin of the Arduino and regulated on-board to 3.3VDC before being supplied to the XBee.
