The 74HC4051 can function as either a multiplexer or a demultiplexer, and it features eight channels of selectable inputs/outputs. The routing of common signal to independent I/O is set by digitally controlling three select lines, which can be set either high or low into one of eight binary combinations.

Each LilyPad piece was creatively designed with large sew tabs to allow them to be sewn into fabric. Various input, output, power and sensor boards are available. They’re even washable (with special care)!
When looking at the SparkFun Stepoko it will be very easy to differentiate the two “hemispheres” of the board. The right side of the board has been dedicated to supplying power and system control. At the heart of the Stepoko is an Uno compatible ATmega328p.
The included SparkFun Stepoko is an Arduino compatible, 3-axis control solution with pre-installed grbl software and is able to connect to your computer to accept stepper motor commands. Additionally, the four stepper motors found in this kit are ideal for CNC projects by offering 125 oz.in of torque, 200 steps/rev, and adhere to a NEMA23 form factor.
The LilyPad Rainbow LED features seven individual LEDs in six unique colors (Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, Pink, and White). Text has been added to the back of each board to indicate its color. Due to popular request, we have included two white LEDs instead of just one.
